Art Club

The Art club participates in various art contests throughout the year, as well as raising funds for Senior Art Scholarship recipients. The club scholarships can include A/P exam costs, IB exam costs and the Alan Bergeron Memorial Scholarship. The Alan Bergeron Memorial Scholarship has been in place since the late 1970's. Alan was one of the original Advance Placement Portfolio Visual Art students at Newbury Park High and the CVUSD. His Memorial Scholarships have been awarded to over 80 NPHS art grads. Many of these recipients have attended and graduated from prestigious Universities and Art Institutes all over the country.
