Alignment of Requirements for the University of California and the California State University:

Don’t forget!!! The subject requirements for the University of California and the California State University are now the same. These include the following:

4 Terms of CP or Honors English;
3 Terms of CP or Honors Mathematics;
1 Term of CP or Honors World History;
1 Term of CP or Honors U.S. History;
2 Terms of CP or Honors Lab Science, 3 recommended (Biology, Chemistry, Physics);
2 Terms of CP Foreign Language, 3 recommended;
1 Term of Visual or Performing Arts;
1 Term of CP or Honors electives.

Juniors!!! Don't Forget to take your College Entrance Exams

All college-bound juniors are reminded to register for the SAT 1, SAT 2, and/or ACT at least once during the spring. The test calendar for these examinations is published each month in the Panther Pursuits. For information regarding entrance tests, please attend the seminar described above, or contact Lynne Hill in the NPHS College and Career Center at 498-3676, ext. 1101, or at lhill@conejo.k12.ca.us. Students may register online for these tests at www.collegeboard.com for the SAT 1 or SAT 2, or at www.act.org for the ACT.
