The subject requirements for the University of California and the California State University are now the same. These include the following:
Juniors!!! Don't Forget to take your College Entrance Exams All college-bound juniors are reminded to register for the SAT 1, SAT 2, and/or ACT at least once during the spring. The test calendar for these examinations is published each month in the Panther Pursuits. For information regarding entrance tests, please attend the seminar described above, or contact Lynne Hill in the NPHS College and Career Center at 498-3676, ext. 1101, or at lhill@conejo.k12.ca.us. Students may register online for these tests at www.collegeboard.com for the SAT 1 or SAT 2, or at www.act.org for the ACT. California High School Proficiency Exam (CHSPE) The CHSPE is a voluntary test that assesses proficiency in basic reading, writing, and mathmatics skills taught in public schools. When you receive your letters of acceptance from colleges and universities, please bring them to your counselors so that we can congratulate you, and also so we can make a copy for our bulletin board and for school recognition in the daily announcements. |
